Enrollment Instructions for General Nursing & Midwifery (G.N.M)
Important Notes
- Enrollment must be completed after the admission process. Once enrollment is done, no changes, alterations, or deletions can be made.
- Students shall be admitted once per year.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirements:
• Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Note: No age bar for ANM candidates
Educational Qualifications (Minimum 40% marks required):
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 40% aggregate marks in any of the following:
Science Stream: PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with English
Arts/Commerce: Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science,
History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology,
Psychology, Philosophy with English Core/English Elective
Vocational Streams:
– Health Care Science – Vocational stream from recognized boards
(AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE)
– 10+2 Vocational ANM under CBSE or equivalent board recognized by
Indian Nursing Council
ANM Candidates: Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council
(including RANM with 10th standard education)
Additional Requirements:
• Student must be medically fit
• Male candidates’ enrollment shall not exceed 30% of total enrollment

1. Transfer Certificate
2. SSC Marksheet/Diploma
3. HSC Marksheet/Diploma
4. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
5. Income Certificate
6. Domicile Certificate
7. Gap Certificate (if applicable)
8. Aadhaar Card (photocopy)
9. Bank Passbook (first page photocopy)
10. Passport Size Photographs (4 copies)
11. Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
