The Janaprabha Sankul is situated in the prime location of Ramtek area. Apart from being the Holiest City, Ramtek is now the natural choice and preferred destination for students from different parts of the Vidharbha region of the Maharashtra State to pursue traditional, skill education or education in any other field. The Janaprabha Sankul is home to a globally renowned corporate Sankul in the Ramtek taluka. The distance to the college from the Ramtek city railway station and Bus stand is 1 km & 1.5 km respectively.
Janaprabha Sankul has an excellent infrastructure and accessibility from various parts of the city. The college has a well-designed administrative block and various other rooms and facilities for the students such as girl’s common room and boy’s common room, waiting room, etc. It has provided well-equipped furnished labs for basic sciences separately and other departmental laboratories as per the norms of the University. Each section of students has separate classrooms and facilities as per the norms of the University. Classrooms are well furnished and ventilated.
Audio visual Room is provided with all teaching aids, OHP, Slide Projector, Television, Video Player, LCD Projector, Video Camera, Still Camera, DVD, Multimedia Computer, Audio Systems, Microscopic Projector, etc., to ensure the overall development of students. The students have all the facilities for games and sports. Adequate infrastructure is provided for indoor and outdoor games and extra-curricular activities. A canteen with vegetarian food is also available on the campus.
Scholarships/Stipend/Student Aid Fund
Many college students belonging to S.C./S.T./ VJNT/ OBC/ Economically Backward/SBC and Physically Handicapped are given stipends by the Government. There is also a Students Aid Fund to the aid of needy students. Meritorious students of this institution belonging to economically backward families may enjoy 25% free studentship if approved by the Management. The college is recognized by the state government of Maharashtra and affiliated to Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University Ramtek. These students are eligible for scholarships/stipends/student aid funds as per the rules and provisions made by the state govt. of Maharashtra and Govt. of India.
Welfare Schemes
The Janaprabha Sankul undertakes adequate schemes to ensure the welfare of both teachers and students. The teachers can get the advance amount from the management in the crucial stage on a monthly repayment of instalments.
Women Cell
Janaprabha Sankul has established a Women Cell on the campus for the women faculty, staff, and girl students, to enhance their understanding of issues related to women and empower them to make the campus a safe place for them.
Grievance Redressal Cell
An arrangement has been made for a grievance box, and a committee is in place to address the grievances of employees, teachers, and students. If an individual has any concerns, they can submit their grievance in writing through the box or to the Grievance Redressal Committee. The committee will then convene, discuss the matter, and work towards resolving the issue. Any student or guardian may also apply for assistance.
Career Counselling/Employment Information Bureau
The Janaprabha Sankul has a career counselling and employment information bureau to help the students select their subjects of interest, form study habits, and make them progress in those subjects and activities and attain the ultimate aim of getting a good career as per their aspirations under the guidance and super vision of senior teaching faculty .
Anti-Ragging Cell
Janaprabha Sankul has an Anti-Ragging Cell for preventing ragging in the campus. In the campus, ragging is totally banned. If anyone is found guilty of ragging and/or of abetting ragging actively or passively, the administration shall take strict action under the UGC and Government Regulations and Supreme Court.
Transport Facilities
College provides safe and reliable bus transportation to students who wish to avail of this facility. The educational institute has a luxury fleet of buses with the best safety arrangements available for the neighbouring areas. The students in the buses are accompanied by well-trained attendants/ escorts to ensure their safety.
The transport rules are:
1. Transport facilities will be made available on specified routes and designated stops only, at the sole discretion of the college.
2. It is to understand that college transport, like any other vehicle on the road, may get sometimes delayed due to traffic conditions, road conditions, or some technical fault. The parents should understand these practical situations and they should do their best to cooperate towards the same.
3. The college transport routes are subjected to change depending upon the requirements of the students and it is at the sole discretion of the college management.
4. For any addition or change in the route, the interested parent(s) may contact the Principal with a written request. The change may be allowed as per feasibility and availability.
5.College transport is an optional facility and it cannot be claimed as a matter of right by any student/ parent. The school/college management reserves the right to withdraw the college transport facility from any student without assigning any reason whatsoever.
6. The college transport is arranged by the college for a complete academic session. Thus college transport can be withdrawn between the academic sessions with one month prior notice.
7. In case any parent wishes to withdraw from the college transport facility for the next academic session, he/ she is required to inform the college in writing in advance of the withdrawal otherwise one month’s transport fee will be charged on one month’s notice.
8. All students using the college bus are expected to be on the left side of the college bus at their designated bus stops at least ten minutes before the arrival time of the bus. The buses will not wait for the latecomers. During the dropping time due to safety concerns, students will not be dropped escorted, instead, he/ she would be taken back to college and the parent would have to pick up the student from the college.
9. The availability of college transport to the learners is subject to adherence to disciplinary norms. Any misbehaviour that distracts the driver is a serious violation and could harm someone.
Hostel
Separate hostel facilities are provided on a room basis as per the rental availability on actual for Boys and Girls in the nearby colonies of Janaprabha Sankul. Before this due registration process is mandatory to avail hostel facility from the institute. Accordingly, officials of the educational institute will extend their guidance and cooperation. It has adequate high security and a good discipline environment of civil and residential areas. The canteen of the Janaprabha Sankul provides necessary vegetarian food as per the demand on a chargeable basis, only for the admitted students.
Cafeteria
The campus features a spacious and well-equipped cafeteria that offers an amazing café experience to students, staff, and faculty. The cafeteria is more than just a place to grab a meal; it’s a relaxing and social environment where you can rejuvenate and take refuge from the daily hectic schedule. The seating area is very roomy and can accommodate large groups of students, and the cafeteria is kept clean and well-maintained. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken seriously, with regular monitoring of the quality of food items by the designated Prof./Teacher in charge of the canteen. Both the cooking and cleaning teams and the Prof./Teacher in charge of the canteen conduct regular inspections to ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene. The cafeteria is dedicated to serving good quality, nutritious food with a healthy touch, recognizing the importance of a healthy diet. School/college cafeterias are a great option for students to avoid making purchases from shops outside the college.
Computer Laboratory
Janaprabha Sankul has accorded primacy for expanding computing facilities for strengthening teaching, and student learning. There are two well-equipped common computer laboratories with 50 systems each, set up at the Computer Laboratory on the campus for use of students of different UG/PG University and School/college level programs. Aseparate computer laboratory with 25 systems and specific software has been established on the campus to cater to all the campus students. A general-purpose computer laboratory with 25 systems to promote information literacy and e-access for learning resources among the students has been set up at the central library of the campus
Library
A well-stocked library facility is available for all the students and teachers. It is a place where students access a wide range of books, magazines, and reference materials. The library is spacious, well-lit, and comfortable, with adequate seating arrangements.
Science Laboratory
Science departments of Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Civil Engineering, Nursing, and Computer well-equipped laboratories to cater to the skill education, other degrees, and school/college course requirements. Some of these have been further strengthened with sophisticated equipment as per the need of current syllabi.

Clean and Cold Drinking water
Janaprabha Sankul has two cooler cum water purifier and three water purifiers installed on each floor of the building. Clean drinking water is a basic necessity for every student. The campus has a safe and reliable water supply. The water is also tested regularly to ensure that it is free from harmful contaminants
Clean and Hygienic Toilets
Proper sanitation facilities are available on the campus to promote good health and hygiene. Toilets are always clean, well-maintained, and equipped with basic amenities like soap and water. Separate restrooms are easily accessible for all students, with separate area for boys and girls.

Sports Facilities
Aplayground is a place where students are engaged in physical activity and develop their sports skills. Students need to have a playground with adequate equipment for sports and other physical activities. The Janaprabha Sankul has a well-supplied gymnasium with a well-qualified instructor wherein the students are trained. Besides, the campus also encourages outdoor games such as football, cricket, kabaddi, kho-kho, and volleyball. Annual sports competitions are held to detect talented sports prospects on campus and to encourage them further.
Recreation Centre
A Healthy mind resides in a healthy body, and with this belief, the institute will persist in its endeavours and conduct more such events under recreation activity.
Yoga: The students, all volunteers, participated in yoga class three times a week for seven weeks or personal health classes that included a meditation and mindfulness unit. The students were assessed for their perceived stress and anxiety levels before and after taking the program. Considering the growing need for mental health services among undergraduates and the demand for counselling services, yogic intervention is accessible to all students on campus and provides mental health benefits from engaging in the practice.
Zumba: Everybody and everybody! Each Zumba is designed to bring students together to sweat it on. We take the “work” out of a workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorieburning dance fitness party. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility, boosted energy, and a serious dose of Fun Zumba.
